Simple options that should help-
warm salt water mouth rinse (teaspoon of salt dissolved in mug of hot water) rinsed and held over the area, 4-5 times a day.
Paracetamol can be very effective of taken regularly. Max dose is 2x500mg four times a day, DO NOT GO OVER max dose. If it doesn’t last you can add ibuprofen between (max 600mg three times a day) if you can take ibuprofen (beware stomach/gut issues and some sensitivities eg asthma sufferers)
corsodyl/chlorhexidine mouthwash may help but can stain if used longterm.
ice/cold water may help unless you have sensitivity.
avoid smoking/nicotine
clean the rest of your mouth as much as possible.
Dry socket will run it’s course in around a week, you may find some tiny bits of bone shed later.
if unsure contact your dentist for review/more dressing… antibiotics are not always indicated.
