Terrorist attack - congresses fault, they stopped me building the wall
Is Mexican terrorism a problem in the US? Or do a lot of {the rest of types of] terrorists enter the US across the border with Mexico?
In other shock news, The iron curtain wasn't all made of iron either
True. A great deal of it was concrete and/or multiple tall barbed wire topped fences with ploughed fields, floodlights and watch towers.

There have been some stories about Syrian refugees being "caught" trying to enter America through the Mexican border. And we all know that refugees are terrorists. ISIS maybe? Just think how many they didn't catch eh? eh?
Of course the more prosaic story is that those refugees (two families consisting two men, two women, and four children) were not "caught". They quite properly presented themselves to immigration officials at the border. Something that will presumably still happen when there is a wall.

It's not supposed to be applied to the face!
Wall, pfft.
Just a human chain of folk linking arms.
He said he'd get America working again.
Sad thing is that is probably option D or E on his list. Not sure what H or J are

? Donald J. Trump. It is striking how many of the categories listed above affect the president and his family. He is a high-income earner. He receives income from 564 business entities, according to his financial disclosure form, and could take advantage of the low rate on โpass-throughโ companies. According to his leaked 2005 tax return, he paid an extra $31 million because of the alternative minimum tax that he seeks to eliminate. And his heirs could eventually enjoy his enormous assets tax-free.
Hands up who is surprised by this. (those who want to claim it's fake news can also raise your hands - I'm looking at you chewy, ninfan amd jamba)
you certainly get what it said on the tin !
I know you are a fan of political fact checking sites jamba.
Politifact find that just 4% of Trump statements were rated as "True".
Only 16% were rated as "True" or "Mostly True".
69% were scored as "Mostly False", "False" or "Pants on Fire"

That is pure MSN bias there

Must have missed the campaign bus emblazoned with promises to fail, lie, spend vast sums of money playing golf, and success being defined as not getting impeached within the first year.
In other shock news, The iron curtain wasn't all made of iron either
It also wasn't actually a curtain. it was kinda, you know "in quotations", figure-of-speech, like "wiretapping"... Surely you Trumpettes should be all over that like fake tan?
Besides I thought the swivel eyed loons on the far right were admirers of Churchill...
But apart from that, you're bang on the money. As always ๐

Except that's not creosote, that's ronseal, which I suppose is a pretty accurate description of the Donald ๐
It was however brought to you by the purveyor of #jambafacts.

and he has the cheek to call me a troll
No one can think the donald is delivering on his pledges not even you.
I will accept his trying but he is certainly not managing to deliver.

I actually remember watching the BBC news during the Iraq war when that gut was saying "everything was fine".
He was in a bunker with dust streaming down from the ceiling . . .

I'm sure he did an interview or wrote a book or somesuch and came across as perfectly reasonable. He was just in an impossible position and put out the best spin he could which given the circumstances was embarrassingly poor.
Groening for president?
Trump says he misses his old life and is surprised that being president is not easier ๐ฏ
"This is more work than in my previous life," he said. "I thought it would be easier."
Imagine that, turns out being president is more demanding than presenting reality TV.
First President since Regan to address the NRA.
well it looks like only those in the early stages of mental illness go there then
#ninfanismyhero
All for the best,in the best of all right-wing worlds, eh jamba?
It's amusing when he puts "POLITICS!" in his tweets.
Er, yes, you moron, being POTUS does involve quite a bit of Politics, who knew eh?? ๐
First President since Regan to address the NRA.
Trump declared that an "eight-year assault" on gun ownership rights had come to a "crashing end" with his election.
What an effing tool

"The guy I spoke to kind of cut me off and asked if I was calling about the first lady and I said, 'how did you guess?'"
"Calling the VOICE hotline over and over again and describing in elaborate detail my favourite episodes of ALF"
He's just signed an executive order to allow drilling in the Artic for oil, despite oil production being at a high at the moment and the market being over supplied.
Earlier on in this thread whilst many were describing the many ways that trump could possibly suffer medical issues whilst holding the office of the President I have to admit i came down on the other side citing him being a father and that whilst i do not agree with him being in such a position to hold office i do not wish him any ill as president as that would impact on his family and young son who deserve no ill from his narcissistic tendencies. However seeing as how he has led his first 100 days in the presidency and from what i have read regarding his relationship with Melania and his son i have come to the conclusion that the orange tinged fat ****er needs to have a stroke or major heart attack pretty bloody soon before he can do any more damage.
Yep! I don't think I've ever wished ill on anyone as much as I do on Trump.
well it looks like only those in the early stages of mental illness go there then
You're being quite generous to [s]Reagan[/s] them there
First President since Regan to address the NRA
He really does have a narcissistic desire for superficial likes from anyone, there has never been a leader of a western democracy in recent history who has such a need to embolden his fragile ego and surround himself with acolytes, I've come round to the fact that he is a genuinely dangerously deluded person to hold the office of president of the USA, I'll take no solace in standing on the hands of those trump supporters who attempt to crawl away on all fours through the dirt as i say "told you so" when the shit hits the fan so to speak.
He's just signed an executive order to allow drilling in the Artic for oil
The day after he tweeted "As families prepare for summer vacations in our National Parks - Democrats threaten to close them and shut down the government. Terrible"!
Let's hope they have to prise that gun from his cold, dead hands.

it is terrible that the republicans control all three aspects of the democratic process and then they blame democrats when it cannot be passed when they literally lack the ability to do this
The reality is he cannot carry his own party
We are being led down a path of self destruction by an ignorant, selfish, greedy minority which will lead to the extinction of the human race. This path had many warning signs along the way and plenty of forks leading back to safety but we ignored them all and scoffed at every opportunity. I think we have passed the last of these opportunities now and are well and truly ****ed!
I'm actually not that bothered, I've no kids and won't be having any either. I'm just here for the show, and what a show it is!
The NRA thing actually looks like a shrewd move to me. Sell them the promise of protecting gun ownership and they'll continue voting for you even when/if they become unemployed with no prospect of employment.
Seems like a cheap way of securing support. Do nothing, guarantee votes.
There was an interview with a coal barge captain last night on the News. He was giving Trump the credit for "turning around his industry". What, in just 100 days? Pretty sure it takes longer than that to "turn around" an industry the size of the coal industry. He also couldn't see that he, as part of an increasingly obsolete (and definitively finite) industry was just a dinosaur waiting for the comet to land. Everyone else can see the comet coming, but not him.......
(see UK Coal mining, Steel production, ship building, etc etc for reference)
President Trump knows that America with NRA is America. ๐
Problem is, no one is going to invest in coal anymore.
Politicians should be honest about the "unlikeliness of (coal's) resurgence," the Columbia authors wrote, rather than offer false hope that the glory days can be revived."
Have you seen where China has just started buying their coal from (instead of North Korea)?
Trump declared that an "eight-year assault" on gun ownership rights had come to a "crashing end" with his election.
What an effing tool
But surely, since Donald never does what he says, or never achieves what he plans, that means that in fact he's lying to them and in fact we will see a huge increase in gun control measures while he is telling them he is doing the opposite?
Makes you think, eh?
I'm enjoying your work Ninfan....
I imagine Trump will do whatever is easy and involves people telling him he's wonderful. The first part of that rules out any change in gun control.
The same china that's cutting its use of coal by about 5% a year, has reduced its own production of coal by 9% and its imports by a third, and has cancelled the construction of new coal plants? I'm sure they'll be very happy to buy coal from the US while they continue their own carbon transition. And apparently the US is going to really throw themselves into buggy whip production.
