| 100kgs ready to ride, 60 psi in the forks with 90 in the IRT, 500lbs spring. | For the rear shock there is a 525 superlight coil, not sure on the settings. The Fork has a TruTune insert with 95 psi. No idea on the rebound and compression settings other than they work an I leave them alone. |

| Why this bike? | Why this bike? |
| I had a G16 for years before and this was the obvious choice, from the Purbecks, to Wales and Ligura (where I a have work office) it takes any terrain in its stride, climbs remarkably well, and is easily capable of 100Km XC rides with the right tyres. | I have been a fan of the long low slack bikes for a while and previously had a Privateer 141 with offset bushings. I have been a fan of Geometron bikes both for the reviews and having tried a couple. Reading articles with Chris Porter and listening to his views on podcasts, I really bought into the bike design and ethos he has developed with this bike based on his own conviction. I can confirm for me he is 100% right, This really is hopefully the last bike I will buy, any changes I want to make the frame can deliver them. This really is the Trigger’s broom bike for me. When the opportunity came up to buy this bike as a frame this winter, it was the ideal opportunity have a project to build up the bike I want to ride. |
