I’ve been reminiscing with a few mates about exploring the old hiking and biking trails pre 2000 ish I guess, maybe later?

My old man reckoned he had copies of the old maps but can’t find them.

I’d really like to do some walking round there this summer so if anyone can point me to online copies or the like then I’d be very grateful!

    Cheers

How great was the original Karrimor trail? <sighs>

Does anyone remember the Fat Tyre Festival? Pat Adams organised it, only ran twice, but was a cracking weekend. They combined good bits from all trails into one mahoosive loop, it was ace.

I remember doing the Karrimor with some girl I’d just started going out with. It was a blistering hot day (the one for that year) and we ran out of water about 2/3 of the way round. Still, she forgive me and we’ve got 3 kids now. 🙂 She still brings it up now and then, especially if I comment on how badly somebody or other is equipped for a ride…..
