My dishwasher waste pipe was leaking and the female end at the drain end has split off leaving just the bare end of the Flexi pipe. Does anyone know what I need to buy to get this fixed back onto the connector on our sink U-bend or is this a job to leave to a plumber?
    Thanks

The proper way to do it is to Google ‘drain hose’ and your make of machine.  You will find how to videos as well as links where to buy the part.  For a quick solution though you could probably buy some waterproof pipe fix tape to put the whole thing back together while you wait for the parts.  It’s not high pressure so should be ok.  Personally I would buy the part and hand wash for a few days

Espares are quite good for spares (!), for a search facility that gets the right spare for your machine and videos on how to fit it.
They won’t necessarily be as cheap as eBay but they’re good at helping folk like me fix things.
