Evening dates easy – pub innit. Being a *massive* introvert I find the alcohol helps rather a lot 🙂 Have just had to postpone this evening’s meet-up and have bravely opted to meet on Friday daytime but what to do??

Coffee/little lunch/exploring the delights of Greggs menu are obvious, but any suggestions for something active to do?

No, not that! It may be a Tinderdate, but that’s not the way I roll.

Edit: Go Ape just sprang to mind…

River cruise from Caversham. Swinley or Morrison’s cafe in Whitley.

Harry, it’s better to do them both. Y’know, for balance.

She’s a sports watcher rather than participant, so pub innit could be a good shout Tom-Tom, if they’ve got the paras showing. As long as it’s not a ‘spoons – don’t think she’s that kind of girl…

Paintball not sociable enough I wouldn’t have thought, but falconry place could be a good shout.

    Maybe archery??

I wasn’t really seriously suggesting that you should dress her in a smelly boiler suit then shoot at her.

River cruise not a bad shout – lack of emergency exits if one of us turns out to be repulsive/insane, though.

Trampoline place would rock, but she probly doesn’t need to find out what a childish **** I am on the 1st date

Thought you’d be used to extra space what with turning left at the cabin door.

Gentle bike ride somewhere (nice pub?), drink, ride back.

Walk along the south bank of the river from Goring, lunch at the Beetle and Wedge Boathouse in Moulsford. if things are going well they have rooms, if it’s not gone quite that well then a leisurely walk back.
