I need three nights 8-10 September (week after next) – anyone know of a decent bunkbarn, hostel, lodge etc that will accomodate two of us (not a double bed, my mate is good looking but not THAT good looking)…?

    Thanks

    Chris

Try Gorsebank mate, one of the two man timber tents may be just up your street.

    Southerness caravan park?

    No. 😯

No matter how cheap it is don’t even think of staying there.

It seemed to be a weekend retreat for the Glaswegian unempoyable.

That sounds like an exciting prospect. 😆

schools are back so all Weegies are likely to have migrated north 😉

But, Stu is right, it is a holiday haven for Weegies and Ayrshire folks in the same way as the Lakes has become a favorite with the crowd from the north east and Lancashire 😐

Castle Point Campsite in Rockcliffe is good, stayed there a few times. The good pub in Kippford is an easy walk/cycle along a path on the coast.
