cycle speedway film – looks good fun

although the riders seem to get a bit grumpy mind

We did cycle speedway for a "fish out of water" articel in the mag about 5 years ago, it was a good laugh – so much so we went back and had the (un) official STW championships a few months later. Ben took my line and pipped me to 6th place overall, the swine

cycle speedway is a laugh but the good guys are massively quicker than normal people.

I used to race in the late '60's.

Never understood why it wasn't more popular, not that great to watch really – but great fun to race.

back in the 60's there was alot more physical contact allowed.
