Where do I go fron here? Buy new hose fit then bleed? How do i Drain the remaining Fluid from the lever and caliper ?

Yep, but put it back together and see how much fluid you can save in there. unless it’s a front already keep it for a front spare. Bleed as per the intructions for your brake.

    Oops.

Measure twice, cut once as “Timber Thompson” my woodwork teacher at school used to say.

Will any replacement Shimano hose fit? Do all shimano hoses come with with the banjo bit already attached?

The replacement hoses come with everything you need.

Just make sure you order the right one – either straight (like Deore) or banjo (like XTR).

How old? My XT’s (775’s I think) are straight fit, no banjo

I was cutting Shimano hoses today, and I said to the missus ‘Measure Twice, Cut Once’.

You can learn by making mistakes, you’re unlikely to do it again – so that’s the good news 😉
