Just building up a new cube hardtail frame and a bit puzzled by the internal gear cables.
They enter the down tube at the headtube end it looks the frame acts as a cable stopper for t he outer and only the inner goes through the frame.
But at the bottom bracket end the hole is big enough for the outer to go into the frame and there’s no stopper end, but you can’t run just inner cable to the front or rear mech cos there’s a stopper closer to each mech

Not sure if I’ve managed to explain that, does anyone have a cube hardtail who knows what I’m talking about?

You should have a plastic plate to fit under the bb shell which the inner runs over and up to the front mech.

The rear is much the same except that the first spigot on the chain stay is a cable stop for another length of outer.

If it’s the same as mine then you’re missing a part it seems
