Just had my Soul powder coated in red sparkle.

Pics will follow when it is built.

If anybody living in the Calder Valley needs a frame powder coating then Chris at Pennine Powder Coating is a good chap. He is half way between Hebden Bridge and Todmorden.

Just dropped the frame in for powder coating this morning. bmike – I’ve gone for Ral 5015, or as its now officially known; Greggs Blue. Just need to get some custom, pie-based graphics sorted today, and the Greggs P7 will be a reality 😀

Thanks for all your contributions folks

Anyone recommend anywhere I can get some custom graphics cut?

Cheers mate. I’ve just mailed them. I best get the artwork sorted. Hopefully I’ll have it all back together to christen it at Brechfa next week

I’m having the frame done in matt powder coat, then they’re going to shove the stickers on, then coat it in a gloss lacquer. Should look great! 😀

No pics of mine (Genesis Altitude), but it’s just red, with a clear lacquer

No decals or ‘owt. It would have replacement decals if I’d not lost the vector files that someone did for me a year or so ago. I don’t suppose that someone still has them…? There’s a pasty in it…

You lost them? They’ll be on the laptop at home. I shall dig them out and get them over to you later

Customer insisted on grey. came out pretty well.
    I’d say get sparkles.
I do a matt or glossy clear over the powdercoats.
    wears better, and looks better

Well… its back. Just been to pick it up from it up from Ereg Coatings who have done a bloody fantastic job of it! Acid dipped, then a matt Greggs Blue applied, covered with a high gloss lacquer. You’ll have to excuse the crap camera phone pic, which doesn’t do it justice

I’m hoping my custom Greggs graphics will have arrived from Slik when I get home. Plan is to build it up tonight. More photos to follow 😀

    hope it helps someone.
There’s a lot of hard bits in building bikes, choosing a good paintjob is damn hard.
