Think I heard the owners of the house half way round The Beast that had turned it into a cafe, were trying to sell up. Does anyone know if it’s still open?

Sold and bought. Still open and pretty good!

Went round a couple of months back and it was in full swing, cracking cake!

Thank God for that.

I was chatting to the new owner 2 weeks ago as he was giving me a coffee and cake.

Re-open with new – and very nice (cycling) owners. Cracking cake, chat, tea, garden.. I could spend an entire day there, probably… 🙂

very nice cycle friendly owners with two **** enourmous dogs! went in there on saturday for drinks. it was like an oasis in the dessert
