Just looking at ways of getting back up without actually climbing back up the Beast,
If I turn left onto Snake Rd from the bottom of Hagg Tor, spin down for a short while, there seems to be a sharp right turn that leads you back up towards the bottom of the beast, stopping short and leading over a bridge where there seems to be a short climb in the form a footpath?
Anyone use this? Strava heatmap suggests its not an obvious route back up,

    Anyone got any suggestions?

Track you describe is better as a down (I’ve used it as a chicken run when mate fell off at top of Beast and smashed his hand up) it’s still a decent down, but you would likely be walking up, was quite slippy so would likely struggle for traction going up
Instead head right (kind more a straight on) at bottom, through gate and along the side of the reservoir
After a while a track leads up to the right, head up there to get back to the top of Hope Brink
    This one – http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=417355&y=386215&z=120&sv=417355,386215&st=4&ar=y&mapp=map.srf&searchp=ids.srf&dn=787&ax=417355&ay=386215&lm=0
If you don’t take the first one (marked as a footpath) take the next one marked as a dotted black line, it’s a fair bit longer but a nice permissive path and a rideable climb all the way to the top with only one short steep bit

    Sounds like the trick, Thanks!
Would you head south down to Aston or North to come back down on yourself via Brinks Road?
