Clarks 10 speed 11-46 is only £19  on amazon and I have a voucher

My hardtail mostly gets ridden in the sandy (and wet) local trails and cassettes don’t last long, sunrace steel one has only managed 900km!

    Anyone done clarks cassette?

The sunrace cassettes I don’t rate tbh but something is off if your only getting 900km out of a what’s a poor quality steel cassette

The clarkes are Chinese poor quality too same as the air bikes ztto etc

    Spend a bit more

I was slack on changing the chain, so it’s really my fault!

Spend a little bit more and get a Shimano Deore one that will last 3 to 4 times as long and work out cheaper in the long run.

    Just ordered a deore one

My only problem with the deore ones is like the xt 11-46, they have a big jump between the biggest 2 sprockets so you end up in the largest one more than you need to!

Not tried Clarkes but I imagine they’re coming out of one of the same factories as the other budget 3rd parties.  I’d always go shimano, they’re noticeably quieter and much better shifting. I’ve got a Sunrace 10s 11-28 on my road bike as Shimano don’t make anything comparable (I think the closest is 13-27).
