When I say cheap I mean cheap!

Okay Okay! I realize that this is potentially not built as a 29er MTB, however its looks to me perfect for some local loops up and around Sherwood pines this winter but also as my commuter.

Thoughts?
Sub £300 Alternatives?

Well reviewed iirc and I think brant had a hand in designing it. If that's your size then why not?

Mate has one as a commuter and thinks its great value. Reckon for that money you can't go wrong!

Pines on a singlespeed is good fun, it's all rideable.

I had the v-braked version, and it was reet. You need to run low-ish pressures if your going to be hitting lots of roots, as the fork/frame are a bit harsh....but then it's a £270ish.

As an aside, and 1x, but I might be selling a medium Pinnacle Ramin 1 for around a similar price.

I might be selling a medium Pinnacle Ramin 1 for around a similar price.

I would almost definatily be interested if I weren't so small,
Medium is that word I see open so many doors for so many and close so many for my hobbit self 🙁
I do like the look of that Ramin 1 though! Have you converted to singlespeed?

The Ramins size up quite small. I am 5'7"-ish with 31" inside leg, and it suits me fine....is setup like this:

[img] [/img]

Anything below 5'6" you might struggle.

It's set up as 1x10 at the mo. If I sold it for sub £300, it would have the stock, never used, 1x9 drivetrain, saddle etc re-fitted.

...or if I left it as is, with the following fitted::

SLX shifter
RaceFace wide/narrow 34T
SLX M675+ mech
XTM771 cassette
KMC X10-93
Charge Spoon
ODI Troy Lee Grips
Wellgo V8s
Crud Catcher 29er Racepac guards.
Spare tubes etc.

Probably be after £400.

Just down the road from you in P'boro.

Emails in profile if you have any Qs.

No worries. As mentioned, email is in profile.
