I occasionally do a stock delivery for work as I frequently move around sites & have the car insured for business use.

I’ve now been asked to collect and transport takings, so they don’t have to have the cashiers do it.

We’re not talking huge amounts, but then anyone tempted to have a pop may not know that. Aside from whether I’m personally happy with it, wondering if I’m need to declare that on my car insurance? I’ve no idea just strikes me as odd and so consulting pool of knowledge. Anyone have any experience?

    Cheers

Check your policy wording. Often three levels of business use. Annoyingly each insurer have different policies so may/may not be covered.
