Canyon Festival – FOD – How Busy?

Was planning a trip to FOD on Saturday, but just noticed that there’s a Canyon festival on there all weekend. Did anyone go to this last year? Was it super busy?

I normally ride the DH trails (GBU, Corkscrew, etc) but if it’s going to be packed then I’ll go off piste or somewhere else. Any thoughts?

Weather forecast forecast is good,  so will probably be rammed to start with.

Off-piste or carry on down the road to Cwmcarn

Only issue will be car parking – even when it’s busy you can ride for hours and hardly see anyone if you venture even a little bit off piste.

I think I’ll probably park near some of the off piste trails then ride a mix if off piste and the official DH trails . Cheers!

Carpark on past the cafe is now full of tents and official parking, Well that’s what they were erecting at 4pm today.

That’s useful to know – it’s not just a case of getting there early then!
