Hi all, we’re planning a trip to cannock chase this weekend and are looking for the best spot for the usual sort of drive-there-after work-in-time-for-food-and-beer-in-a-tidy-pub-then-fall-into-the-van-at-closing-time-in-the-car-park-ready-for-a-super-sharp-ride-the-next-morning-within-spitting-distance sort of arrangement? Is this possible in CC? Any ideas anyone? Cheers.

Yeah can be done, there is a pub not far from the start of the dog think it’s called the horns inn. Crash on the car park or there’s a few spots on post office lane

You could try the greyhound at Burston- its about 10 minutes from the trails but does good beer and Pete the landlord is a mad keen biker (and a bit bonkers!)- decent size car park as well
