Can you recommend my Mum a DH youtube video?

Well the situation is that I introduced my Mum to 4x DH racing on Eurosport last week and she loved it. We then watched the normal DH the night afterwards.

Anyway, I saw from another thread that there was DH on tonight, but no t only was the commentator lame as, but it didn’t seem to be a proper DH track, with most of it on tarmac roads.

So anyway, I have the Greg video of him commentating, and it’s a good video but you dont get that sense of speed.

I wanted to show her some clips but can’t seem to find the type of thing I am after.

Are there any good clips of say Steve Pete comepeting from some proper DH tracks. I have tried searching already but cant see any Eurosport clips for example, just clips of peoples’ videos they made themselves.

Anyone ever seen the ‘The Art of Downhill’ clip? can’t for the life of me find it again, was really good as well..

I love the one on freecaster where sam hill does a mental time, then falls off right at the end..

If you want some “sensible” DH footage then have a search for some pf Clay Porter’s films. “Between The Tape” and “F1rst” (that’s a 1 not an I) are slickly put together and “F1rst” in particular is quite an accessible look at the downhill race scene.
