Anyone found a nice smooth inner/outer cable for your dropper seat posts?
    Mines gone a bit stiff!

It depends on the post you have. I used a Gore lined cable for my Joplin (I had a spare housing from the set I bought since i don’t use a front mech)although I had to strip some of the outer plastic casing off in order to get it to fit into the guide ferrule on the post. That worked very well and kept the cable working smoothly up until the post died about a year later.

    It’s a KS-i900 post.

Good luck fitting it. As I said the Gore outer is larger in diameter than normal housing. On the KSi posts your cable housing slots into a guide at the seatpost end, just like on the Joplins. You will likely need to shave off the plastic out coating until you get down to the metal hose itself in order to get the hose to seat.
