  • Bikepackers…tough waterproof material ? (for some custom panniers)

I’m looking at making up some custom panniers
Ideally, out of that material they make trailer covers, truck curtain sides, banners etc, from.
Or maybe that tough (cordura ?) material
Anyone know where I can get some ?

Also, any links/info etc, on making this type of stuff. I know backpackers sometimes make up their own kit.

    Thanks in advance.

You can get ripstop & cordura fabric fairly easily online, google for suppliers.
Sew up whatever shape you want and then tape the seams to waterproof them.

Pretty easy, waterproof and easily repairable.
