My five year old son and I made a rocket.

We used a 2 litre drinks bottle a cork from next door and a valve out of a old tube I killed one night this week.
We put fins on it painted etc. Half water and half air it went very very well.
So well we will have to wait for autumn to get it out of that tree!

    Mk2 is in planning.

That first one has a serious design flaw. You need to put fins at the bottom giving enough room for the valve and valve head.

Not sure I get the second one?

My lad has the valve and is going to ‘show’ grannie, I think this means nag her to death to make another 😀

There’s a famous old long distance cyclist up here who used to cut an old innertube and shove one end out the tent (in the days before sewn-in groundsheets) leaving the other end inside to provide ensuite “facilities”.
