Do they really have them at Poundland ?

Sorted if they do 🙂

What about 99p store ? I find Poundland a bit Waitrose 😉

Poundland really do have them, but never seen more than a few 26" at one time...look carefully as they have all the sizes.

Decathlon are 2 for £4 and are approx 180g with a car valve.
They also stock Michelin in latex and butyl with both valve options.

Check CRC and Wiggle...they do specials periodically (just don't hold your breath if none at present)

Tesco are now charging £3 for the 26" inner tube, all the other sizes are still the same prices.

Wonder if its a post Xmas price hike due to them selling loads of BSO's ?

Any other ideas on cheap tubes apart from Poundland ?

what about 29er tubes? They seem a bit harder to come by.

Been using 26" tubes in my 29er but just got a pair of on one 29er tubes which obviously fit better (240g each so inline with 190g 26" tubes I guess).

On-one do 29er tubes for £2.50 but you do have to spend £20 to get your free postage

I've lauded the Tesco ones in the past, at about £1.80 each, but had one fail when trying to get one of their 26" tubes to fill a 2.4" Racing Ralph 29er. 🙂
Using 26" in 29" works fine in the safety of a dry workshop, but trailside a 29" tube is less faff when something evil is watching you on a dark rainy night on t'moors.

Cheapest inner tubes are the ones some riders leave at the side of the trails. Cost of a punture repair kit and you have a decent inner tube. Plus you will have that wonderful warm feeling of helping to tidy up the trails.

For the people asking about 29er tubes, I've got some in the last few days from Tredz 10 for £20 (1.9-2.3 presta)
Although it didn't say it when they turned up they were Specialized tubes, they did other sizes as well so got 10 for the CX bike as well 😉
