trust me with this one ok
two slices of bread dipped in egg on one side each
first slice egg side down in a frying pan
then add – gruyere, ham, banana and creme fraiche.
then add the second slice eggy side up, once the first eggy slice is cooked carefully flip the whole thing over

At the toastie bar at uni. Several pints, then a straightforward ham and cheese toastie with a little bit of brown sauce. The fact that I was ‘seeing’ one of the girls who were making the toasties so I was virtually guaranteed to be getting my leg over about twenty minutes later also helped.
