Hello.

Unfortunately I only discovered Aussie grit in their closing down sale. I luckily purchased a pair of their bibbed baggy shorts and they have been superb. Are there any alternatives available - a quick google search has not been very fruitful. Due to my stocky build I have found the baggy shorts / built in bib a winning combination as I’ve always had problems with baggy shorts going south on a ride. Thanks

I have the same issue, too late to the party and only scored a couple of AG items.

I started a similar thread a few months back looking for alternatives but didn't really get a satisfactory answer TBH.

for much of the last six months I've pretty much lived in the one AG gilet I managed to score before they went bust, I have other gilets, they're just not as good (especially for the money)...

AG are gone, I'm not on a castelli, Rapha or Assos budget either...

I've literally just ordered some Galibier pro 5 liberate cargo bibs. Again they're a new brand to me, but appear to do solid VFM, well thought out kit, if I get along well with the bibs I might just spring for one of their gilets later in the year.

Also don’t know why the above have said Galiber as they don’t do a bibbed baggy short

Another alternative would be the Endura ClickFast system.

Sorry I wasn't really answering the OP question, more stating some understanding, I've not found a better gilet than AG's for the money...

Someone mentioned Scott shorts from
startfitness, funnily enough I still ride in the last pair of Scott baggies I had for start, they're great, but I've not spotted any bib-baggies on there...

I always thought Aussie Grit were a bit of a copy of Ground Effect clothing anyway.

Never worked for me - connections just didn't seem to be in the right place at all so neither the baggy nor the undershort ended up fitting properly.
