A well deserved Knighthood for the Manx Missile.

truly well deserved and would love him to win no 36 but have to say I’m worried about him putting himself on the line again @ 39 (it aint natural for sprinters to go on this long).

Slightly OT, but respect for Alan Bates who’s also been awarded a gong.

    Overdue and much deserved.

Assume the title comes with a suit of armour. It’ll be a bit heavy in the mountains but probably quite useful when fighting for position.

Well deserved but at least 10 years too late.

Last night I watched his Bordeaux (gear change) sprint again on the suitably named TDF Unchained .

Jeez,it was still a hard watch.

I hope by some miracle Sir Cav can snatch another one this year.

    Brilliant.

I also hope we get Sir Chris Boardman soon (maybe the invitation has been offered and declined).

Wikipedia says he got his OBE in 1993 – that’s 31 years ago! I am so chuffing old….

Probably essential when racing Jesper Disaster. Watching the new Netflix doc, the guy is a high speed danger zone.
