After yesterday’s deluge adding a few cm of water to everything? Thanks

The Leigh Woods / AC tracks will be rideable if slippy, they’re gravel based and rarely impassable

Cwmcarn and Afan trails will be fine apart from puddles. I’m going to brave the mud on Cardiff’s local trails though, they haven’t been too bad recently.

The Leigh Woods/Ashton Court trails are very wet but perfectly rideable.

Rode the new penhydd trail at afan last week in torrential rain on very slippy summer xc tyres and was fine.

If you go to Ashton Court then please post how it is, I think this is the first time all week it haven’t rained… 🙁

Lots of mud in Castell Coch and The Wenallt, but it’s so wet that it’s not particularly sticky.

I always find Afan entirely rideable even in heavy rain and usually do The Wall or Whites, but if you don’t like to get too muddy then Penhydd would be the best bet there as it’s mostly firm ground.

AC and LW manmade trails were great today – offpiste less so…
