Anyone know where the Amazon Prime zapper has gone?

MrsMC had it a couple of nights ago when she fell asleep on the sofa watching some crap or other, but it’s now vanished – living room turned upside down looking, sofa dismantled, no sign of it.

Where the **** has it gone?

Based on my own experience you’ll spend days looking for it eventually giving up hope, and then it will just be sitting there on the arm of the sofa.

Easily found.

Order a new one and then put the package down somewhere at random.

Thats where you will find the old one.

Checked the fridge?

Will the regular telly one operate the Amazon widget? You’ll only find the other one if it does.

I bet there’s an app you can download to turn your phone into a remote.

Yeah, they seem so nice and soft and everything but they are Jaws built for comfort basically.

Usually the first place we look if Mrs Nobby had something last, followed by the dishwasher.

You’d think that “find my remote” would be standard for Alexa wouldn’t you. 

if your tv has HDMI-CEC (like most TVs in the last decade) and you’re talking about a fire tv stick, you should be able to control the stick using the tv remote – just change it to the correct input source and use the direction arrows/menu/enter button on the tv remote itself.

if that doesn’t work theres a “fire tv remote” app on the android playstore – no idea if something similar exists for iphones

The app is awful.

The ads are the most intrusive ever.

I ordered a replacement one off Ebay for £5 delivered.
