Just about to replace my Brooks Swift on my commuter (thanks to being nicked!) when I spotted the Spa Cycles Wharfe leather saddle, which to my untrained eyes, looks similar, but at a bargain price?

Anyone had experience of both the Brooks and Spa?

Not the Wharfe, but I have the Nidd.
Similar shape to a B17, funnily enough.

Thicker leather than Brooks and nicely lined underneath with some waterproof material.

Took bleeding ages to break in & heavier than a B17, but a nicer saddle overall.

I really, really rate it.

Quality of the leather is stunning and it looks like it’ll survive the apocalypse.
The welding on the frame is a bit lumpy, but that’s nitpicking.

Great value, good product.
