Anybody know somewhere decent to get a frame painted in the midlands?

Its time to get my frame sprayed so does anyone have any reccomendations for somewhere in the midlands? Cheets

Depends where you are and what you want to pay, but a recent chat with Mercian in Derby about getting an old steel frame redone suggested that starting at £100 plus VAT would get me a very nice job.

+1 for Mercian if you want an A1 primo deluxe job doing.

At the lower end of the scale, Derwent Enamellers (also Derby) did a decent job of powder coating a mate’s frame recently.

I had mine powdercoated somewhere in Leicester, they did an OK job but they didn’t blank ANYTHING off, and I was so excited to see it all painted up it didn’t occur to check this before I left.

Nitromors + lots of careful scraping eventually fixed it.

Will a quick google get info for mercian and derwent ?
