- Any tree surgeons around?
There is a tree surgeon working round the corner from me happily stacking up the logs he’s cut down in a skip
I have a wood burning stove 🙂
Can anyone tell me how tree surgeons get rid of stuff please?
If they have to pay to dispose of it I may be able to do a deal
If they sell it on for firewood I wont
Anyone know before I talk to him?Posted 9 years agotimberMember
if they can be arsed, they will take, split, store and re-sell next winter when done properly, that is what we do anyhowPosted 9 years ago
others do just dump it
worth considering that they may be charging the client to remove the waste
Sunday job suggests it may be a cash, out of company time job
may as well ask, if you don’t play you can’t win…blandMember
If you are after wood for free have a word with the council boys at your local grounds depot. The ones in Oldham will let you take the logs happily for free and woodchip for mulch/garden use. You will prob need to stock up after strong winds mind you as they dont chop trees down constantly.
Id have loads but i dont have a fire, or even a fireplace actually, modern houses hey! RubbishPosted 9 years ago
