    Hi

There is a tree surgeon working round the corner from me happily stacking up the logs he’s cut down in a skip

    I have a wood burning stove 🙂

Can anyone tell me how tree surgeons get rid of stuff please?

If they have to pay to dispose of it I may be able to do a deal

If they sell it on for firewood I wont

Anyone know before I talk to him?

if they can be arsed, they will take, split, store and re-sell next winter when done properly, that is what we do anyhow
    others do just dump it
worth considering that they may be charging the client to remove the waste
Sunday job suggests it may be a cash, out of company time job
may as well ask, if you don’t play you can’t win…

If its a skip it suggests will be getting rid, a pickup/trailer if he was keeping it?

If you are after wood for free have a word with the council boys at your local grounds depot. The ones in Oldham will let you take the logs happily for free and woodchip for mulch/garden use. You will prob need to stock up after strong winds mind you as they dont chop trees down constantly.

Id have loads but i dont have a fire, or even a fireplace actually, modern houses hey! Rubbish
