Seeing lots of hype for RP online, and while I am training I am not seeing the results I would like – assume I need to have a bit more precision around my calories etc.

Are there any of the STW gym goers who can voice for it/them?

I watch plenty of mike isreatels videos and his basis of slow eccentrics with a stretch at the long end of the movement and working generally close/up to failure, myoreps etc  seem to be good for hypertrophy if that’s what you’re after. Even if you’re not juiced to the gills like he is it is what the current research suggests.

Not sure I’d want to pay what I consider an awful lot of money for his app. You could just cherry pick the advice from his videos on YouTube easily enough and put something together. There’s loads on routines, specific exercise details, rep ranges, nutrition and recovery up there for free.

I’ve been watching Dr Mike for a couple of years. He really knows his stuff, plus he can be really funny.

The last year I’ve been doing mainly stretched partials, I listen to Wolf Coaching ahead of Dr Mike now.

I haven’t used the app though.

He is funny, cringe worthy at times too, and especially humorous in the videos with his wife.
