Currently running QR Reba RL, having taken the spacer out giving 120mm, and using a DT Swiss RWS thru bolt and Pro2/Arch EX wheelset. A rider with heavy bones so the question is, would i notice any worthwhile increase in stiffness going for a 15mm Reba (presuming stiffer = better on a Soul)

Or as an alternative what about a pair of Revs? Not sure about specs but I presume they are stiffer than Reba’s and can be wound down to 120mm, but will cover the base of if I decide to swap to say a BFe or full susser in the future?

I have used Rebas at 20mm and now have 20m revs (also used Pikes).

I must admit I prefer the 20mm through axle stiffness, but I am always a bit wary of using QR when either 15mm or 20mm are available. They just seem the safer option, and yes they will be noticably stiffer.

What I can’t comment on is the difference between 15mm and 20mm, I expect that to be a much closer call.

I have a set of 20mm rev’s on my Soul and they are set at 130mm, seem spot on to me.

I have been thinking of swapping the Revs for some 120mm/15mm SID’s TBH
