Been a thread or two involving this individual
Headline;
Andrew Tate charged with rape and human trafficking
Always seemed like a ****, the courts may prove it.
fossyFull MemberHopefully he’ll go down – still seems to be all over Social Media though.
4scotroutesFull Memberstill seems to be all over Social Media though.
TBH if it wasn’t for this Social Media platform I’d have never heard of him.
mattyfezFull MemberI’ve not followed the fiasco in any great detail but he seems to be a wrong ‘un of the highest order.
I’d place him in the same catagory as heroin dealers, and I’ve been given a mandatory holiday from this forum recently for voicing my opinions on that, so I shall say no more about this.
tpbikerFree MemberTBH if it wasn’t for this Social Media platform I’d have never heard of him
Me neither but I don’t think you and me are his target audience!!
He is a truely vile individual whom, if he is guilty, I hope rots in a Romanian cell for an awful long time
BruceWeeFree MemberYouTube still tries to get me to watch his videos despite selecting ‘Do not recommend channel’ everytime anything to do with him or his scumbag brother pops up on my feed.
The algorithm will not be told.
3binnersFull MemberI know it shouldn’t really surprise me any more, but its quite staggering how much money there is to be made by just by being. a **** online
Hopefully all those hundreds of millions of pounds will be seized and put to work repairing some of the damage he’s done
1scotroutesFull MemberI watch YouTube in preference to TV and have never had that suggestion. Maybe if he was doing videos of UK motorways …

It can be quite subtle. If you see a bald **** and the title has anything to do with ‘escaping the matrix’ then for the love of god don’t click on it.
YT will peg you as an angry incel and it’ll be nothing but Joe Rogan for you from now on.
pk13Full MemberThere are lots of other sub channels just putting out copy’s of his bullshit mainly on YouTube shorts as it good for clicks. im amazed by his followers especially young teens. I’d genuinely thought we had moved on as a society but then I saw a video today of yanks doing Nazi salutes openly in the street.
1binnersFull MemberI’ve never actually seen any of his stuff, but I just put his name into Twitter
Dear god… thats a whole world of completely unhinged right-wing conspiracy theories, isn’t it?
1mertFree MemberThe algorithm will not be told.
Problem is that he has hundreds of channels, and lots of his followers have channels, and IIRC part of the Hustlers University stuff is how to monetise these videos and label them/game the algorithms so they do get pushed in places you wouldn’t expect.
Which ironically, is also likely to happen the the delightful Mr Tate.
tpbikerFree Memberand it’ll be nothing but Joe Rogan for you from now on
I find Rogan’s pod cast quite interesting. I don’t agree with him on much but it’s at least entertaining
first time I came across the tates was when a you tube short popped up of his brother coming out with some misogynistic crap. Didn’t realise he was some big influencer
but its quite staggering how much money there is to be made by just by being. a **** online
im staggered by just how much YouTubers can make in general, not just by being an arse. I watch a couple of channels about cars, all these guys appear to own multiple Ferraris. Does YouTube pay that well? I have a mate who has a channel with over half a million subscribers and she’s not rolling around in cash by any means
1binnersFull MemberI think that people like Andrew Tate, and other more respectably-faced charlatans like Jordan Peterson, are just extremely astute at monetising what they do.
I suppose it helps when you’ve an eager audience of embittered morons to exploit, who are looking for easy ways to blame others for their own failings and tell them that nothing is their fault. Thats obviously something people are willing to shell out large amounts of cash for
EDIT: I’ve just had a quick google and Tate was making £10 million a year off advertising on Twitter alone!! 😳
MSPFull MemberDoes YouTube pay that well?
I don’t think so, you have to monetise your “fame” in other ways, selling to the gullible. The tates sell false hope to incels in some sort of pryramid marketting scam. The tates “allegedly” were running an online sex business with trafficked modern day slaves, also their were rumours of even that dodgey business being used to launder drug money.
Also a lot of the apprarant wealth of influencers is fake, they tend to hire fererris to be pictured in, get pictures in private jets that are not flying ect to create a false image of sucsess so they can sell false methods of sucess to dreamers.
willardFull MemberI _think_ that one of the shortlist for the Paul Foot award this year was someone that wrote about him and it is shocking that it took him moving to Romania before he could get arrested. Apparently quite serious allegations in the UK, but two forces declined to charge him.

It depends on what the channel is about, cars are lucrative because people click on the ads and buy stuff. The Ferraris, Maclaren’s, Mercs they ‘own’, are all financed through the channel owners’ company, so they aren’t personally owned by them, they just pay the interest on the loan, they might have 20 cars all financed through the company. They then make ad revenue, direct sponsorships (Squarespace, NordVPN, etc.), merchandise, Patreon tiered memberships….
The most lucrative channels are all the personal wealth generation ones or finance ones, cars are right up there in ad revenue. Other more niche subjects will survive because of people become paterons and funding them that way.
MTB channels don’t really survive on ad revenue unless they are really big (Berm Peak / Seths bike hacks). McTrail rider put up an interesting video recently explaining it all for him.
3hatterFull MemberI have a mate who’s a teacher at a secondary school and who has had to deal with 12-16 year olds coming in having been ‘red-pilled’ by Mr Tate and his ilk.
They tend to get very angry when they realise that acting and talking like him won’t fly outside of whatever fetid corner of the Internet told them it was the way to be ‘successful’
His whole story is a rather depressing papable of our age.
tjagainFull MemberSome friends of mines sons 19/20 are Tate believers – and then complained why they never met any interesting women. They had to be told that they never will while they follow toxic masculinity as any thinking woman will see thru it and run a mile.
10nickcFull MemberMy daughter and her friends now vet boys that they’re keen on dating. Any sniff of Tate-a-like or Tate adjacent activity on the socials is a big ‘ole red flag.
1binnersFull MemberThey had to be told that they never will while they follow toxic masculinity as any thinking woman will see thru it and run a mile.
Its quite depressing that they needed that pointing out.
Mind you, I actually find Jordon Peterson even more concerning than Andrew Tate, as he lends all this uber-masculinity bollocks an air of legitimacy with his cod-psychology-for-half-wits.
I wish someone would arrest that ****! He’s also making a packet out of it, preaching his hateful misogyny to an audience of pathetic INCEL inadequates. These people are really, really dangerous.
MoreCashThanDashFull Memberim amazed by his followers especially young teens. I’d genuinely thought we had moved on as a society
I’m amazed and disappointed as well – I know my kids aren’t his target audience, but I’d assumed most teenagers these days had more awareness and basic decency.
Daughter says a couple of lads in her year (Year 11) were into Tate. I’m pretty sure that if they were spouting his sort of shite she’d break their legs.
2spawnofyorkshireFull MemberMind you, I actually find Jordon Peterson even more concerning than Andrew Tate, as he lends all this uber-masculinity bollocks an air of legitimacy with his cod-psychology-for-half-wits.
Peterson is an insidious tosspiece – he knows exactly what he’s saying and doesn’t believe half of it.
It’s not just the ‘incel’ types who are falling for it. I know plenty of middle-aged, centre-right, married with kids blokes who are suckered in by his bollocks. He’s a pseudo-expert
kelvinFull MemberEDIT: I’ve just had a quick google and Tate was making £10 million a year off advertising on Twitter alone!
Go to Twitter in a private browser, where you aren’t identified, and you can see what “tweets you might like” pop up for a new visitor… Tate is often there in the top few, with Musk and few other attention grabbing ****.

A chap I know started spouting his nonsense. 6 months later divorced. Dunno which was first but as soon as the bollox started appearing I was not surprised he ended up divorced.
These guys know how to push the right buttons on inadequate ill educated unsatisfied men
1chestercopperpotFree MemberNever heard of the guy until this thread. What a sheltered life I lead eh. Just not wedded to the worst parts of social media where the silliest dickheads lurk, apart from here of course!
1TheFlyingOxFull MemberAndrew Tate charged with rape and human trafficking
https://youtu.be/VGWGcESPltM – 6m 40s in = Andrew Tate saying rapists should face the death penalty. Textbook example of “the lady(abuser (allegedly)) doth protest too much, methinks”.
kelvinFull MemberJust tried the twitter thing again… nothing but cats and dogs! Perhaps they’ve tweaked it today, for obvious reasons.
Just not wedded to the worst parts of social media where the silliest dickheads lurk, apart from here of course!
This dickhead was totally mainstream on social media. Anyone between 14 and 40 would probably have come across him. Facebook/Meta/Insta stepped in and removed him, which helped reduce his reach. Twitter should have done the same, 7 million followers or not.
chestercopperpotFree MemberFacebook/Meta/Insta stepped in and removed him, which helped reduce his reach. Twitter
Yup none of that shit.
scotroutesFull MemberI DO all that shit and still hadn’t heard of him outside STW.
dudeofdoomFull MemberAlso a lot of the apprarant wealth of influencers is fake, they tend to hire fererris to be pictured in, get pictures in private jets that are not flying ect to create a false image of sucsess so they can sell false methods of sucess to dreamers.
Fake it till you make it.
He’s been very clever with his hustlers university and using its members to explode his social media exposure.
Back in the day the saddos had a sore wrist and not a fancy incel label to all sit around and mope about with in the chat room with fellow suffers about how they are being unfairly treated.
He’s tapped into a specific market.
1funkmasterpFull MemberI’d not heard of him until Greta Thunberg replied to his tweet and made him look like an arse. Watched the BBC interview out of curiosity and can’t believe anybody would view him as a role model. Just came across as a creepy, petulant man child. The world confuses me more and more tbh.
1tjagainFull MemberHe taps into the dissatisfied young white men. He knows how to push their buttons.
3ernielynchFull MemberNot just young white men, also darker skinned young Muslim men, for example.
Andrew Tate himself is mixed race, not white
1binnersFull MemberJust came across as a creepy, petulant man child
Quite a few of those types have ended up doing ok for themselves of late
CaherFull MemberI can see him fleeing to Russia where he’ll meet like minded people.
Few months later he’ll get a soldier’s uniform.
