Took my boys to the park this afternoon. The youngest (3) is on a climbing/slide thing. He’s playing, when a slightly older boy gets in his face.
Now my lad isn’t a push over lol, so he pushes him back calls him slimey and this is the comical bit.goes “kung fu panda” and adopts a karate pose.
The other lad started doing something light slappy type thing, which my lad laughed at.
Anyway, his mother comes storming over grabs her “little angel” and flounced off saying our boy is terrible and it’s disgusting behaviour???
Now, personally I laughed as boys will be boys. But I am bewildered that parents don’t think their little darlings could possibly misbehave.

Daft question – there is no suggestion from the narrative that the OP bravely attacked the child.

So your son pushed someone and then got into a fighting pose and you chuckled

    Awesome parenting

    To be fair…

I mean, come on, he was

    Yes Junky.that’s exactly what happened!
As I said the older boy started it and my son retaliated but was made out to be the bad kid. I guess you would be happier if your kid just took someone pushing him?? Or would you get them to sit down and talk it out?? 😉

No I teach my kids to threaten bullies as everyone knows the way to sort out violent folk is to use more violence than them

My kid earlier today …what tool this **** tool 😉

I would explain that they fight and get aggressive only if they have no other choice. I was there they had a choice.
YMMV but ignoring your kid being aggressive is not what I would do and clearly at least one other parent agreed with me

I realise all parents are perfect so lets agree to disagree on the best way to deal with bullies in a park when both parents are there

To be fair some of the other kids did look a bit sinister

Lol, Junky really??? The point is the ranting women’s son started it and he.was the one.who started lashing out (last time I checked no-one got hurt by saying kung fu panda),she seemed to ignore this fact.
So everytime your little one(s) gets a problem, you’re going to open your shirt and run to their rescue?? Personally I call it boys being boys. If there was full on scrapping, now that’s a different story but toddler hand bags (a new niche??) I mean, come on!!!do.you live in.the middle of nowhere isolated by a dome??
