  • Alternatives to Cyclotricity?

Hi, I’m looking into converting a commuter bike into an ebike using a kit. Cyclotricity seem to offer a good enough package but I’d prefer to use a cassette to there screw on freewheel method if possible.

Also other than going quickly is there a reason to get a higher powered unit? I guess a bigger battery will go further, but will a bigger motor offer any advantages?

I’m looking for a pannier mounted battery and rear wheel drive. Any problems to look out for?
