Going to Chamonix for a week and haven’t got a clue what insurance to get.

Haven’t got full-on downhill bikes more enduro/xc but will make use of the uplifts.

Can get none specific mountain bike cover but didn’t know if I should get something more specific?

    Any ideas?

I’ve used Dogtag twice now. Not had to claim so can’t comment on how good the after sales and what not, but I did explain what I was going to be doing including taking advantage of the lifts etc… and they (obviously) recommended to go for the Gold cover. TBH for the sake of about a tenner a day its not worth scrimping.

There is also snowcard that gets good reveiws

Used Dogtag and had to claim this year.

Didn’t need in-resort help so can’t comment on that.

Claim forms are lengthy and a bit of a hassle. Assessment done by a third party company, not particularly fast.

Not been paid back for my medical expenses (after about a fortnight) so the jury’s still out on how fair they are with claims.

Snowcard. One of our party faceplanted & broke his nose (rock through front of hos FF lid)in Les Arcs couple of years ago. In resort Doctor stitched it up. Claimed costs back from snowcard without any hassle.
