The customer IS always right. I imagine that you don’t fit the typical customer profile and don’t give two hoots whether you buy from them or not.

I bought some boots for 5 a side , found they were slightly too tight so took them back unused.They were reluctant to swap them for the next size up .checked them over with a magnifying glass and accused me of having played in them. got treated like a naughty teenager until i told them i know the law.
So what is the law there?
You were in the shop had the opportunity to try on, later you decided they were too small, what are your “legal rights”?
(That’s assuming you didn’t get them mail order originally)
