    Utter genius

Be fair. The poor bloke was knackered after trying to find some oat milk. No time for accuracy.

Honestly, every day in the UK media Nathan Barley becomes more like a prophecy

So glad it’s not just me.

Not read the link so assume it’s just a compilation of his drivel.
I saw another example of Grauniad “columns for partners” mentioned in Private Eye this week – a truly piss-poor piece on “100 experiences that define & unite modern Britons” by freelancer Dylan B Jones was published thanks to his partner Chris Godfrey, a commissioning editor. Even the football cartoonist David Squires, had a pop at its banality in his subsequent strip.

I tried the link to Xitter on page 1, but it had been deleted. Pity, about the only time I use it is to troll idiots.

Whatever device he appears on (audio, visual, print) gets turned off or moved away from whenever he appears.

He was unbelievably shit on the telly, but he’s worse on the radio. Faltering, ponderous, drivel. I can only assume he thinks talking like that makes him sound thoughtful and/or considered. In fact he’s dismissive, poorly briefed (probably can’t be arsed to read it) and rambling.

He’s one of the clearest cases of being married into opportunity that I can think of.
