    Morning all.

I’m going to be driving from Aberdeen to Oban soon and I’m looking for suggestions for places to stop for a picnic, preferably with toilets (nice ones) to cater for the thimble sized bladders of my daughter and Mrs B.

    Ta in advance.

Which route are you going? That’s a kicker of a journey…

Toilets at tiso perth, Comrie Croft for picnic. Cafe pretty good if the weather is poor.

I know. Done it a couple of times but unavoidable as we are catching the ferry from Oban to Tiree.

Route is going to be (according to Google and previous experience):

    A96 to Huntly,
    over to Dufftown,
    A95 to Aviemore,
    A86 to Spean Bridge,
    A82 to Ballachulish,
    A828 to North Connel
    A85 to Oban

    And relax.

I should mention that we are starting our journey about 40 miles NW of Aberdeen.

The cafe and toilets at the Highland Folk Museum (Newtonmore) is pretty decent, also you can have a wander around the place for free!

Perfect, I’d not thought of that.
