  • A bit of Birmingham advice needed re: gig at the Genting arena

    Off to see Black Sabbath on the 4th of Feb at the Genting arena and looking at accommodation options. The question is, if we stay in Birmingham City centre is it possible/straightforward to get the train back after the gig ? I’m seeing trains running upto near midnight but wondered if they would cope with what could be thousands of Sabbath fans.

    You’ll be fine, the train will be busy but you should be fine. Worst case, it’s under £20 in a taxi back into the centre.

    The train is bang on for there and back. Bit of a queue on the wait home. Bit like that London tube last time we went. It’s where you go after the gig that counts, shall be there monning the biff in December…
