Seems Ben Sherratt is currently doing laps of Stanmer Park (near Brighton), aiming to set a new 48-hour MTB world record, raising money for charity and promoting cycling for kids. Story here, apparently he started 3pm Thursday, will finish 3pm Saturday, and from 11am Saturday will be accompanied by a load of kids (for BikeStock). Anyone local might want to pop down and cheer him on, even ride a few laps with him (I imagine he’ll appreciate any support tonight!).
