So we have nearly made it to 10 years of mostly very happy marriage together(October 3rd) and I’m after some gift ideas for Mrs Nickswolves – I don’t have too much of a budget to play with, so looking for ideas up to around £75 max. Your suggestions are very much welcome please 🙂

It was our 10th last year. Traditionally that’s tin apparently.

I got my wife an unusual necklace made by this woman who makes stuff out of tin. She loves it.

    Cheap too 🙂

How about a new iron? Or a vacuum cleaner? She would never forget it! 😉

Well, you know that woman you’ve been married to for ten years? What do you think she would like? As opposed to a bunch of internet strangers…

As our 10yr aniversary is next year i was give a 12 month warning that gifts expected. My suggestion of list of crimes with shorter jail sentences didnt go well.

Why would you bother with anything, having each others love and friendship should surely be worth more than any present, well certainly up to the value of £75!

I always find these posts funny.. Don’t you know your wife?? How are we supposed to suggest sth for you?! And then you come back annoyed that there isn’t the response you wanted?! Eh?

Why not extend your budget and take her away for the weekend. Even if its just a night at a swanky Hotel with a nice meal…..it will be much more appreciated than a £75 gift!

You should be able to get a deal at that time.

Edit: you can’t even fill yer tank with petrol for £75 FFS! Borrow the cash if you haven’t got it.

I only saw this thread this morning.

If you were to ask me in 5 days time however?

    Probably still Cheese.

    Light switch?

    Hi Viz jacket?

    Cat scarer?

    Clout nails?

    three bar electric heater?

    Sandals?

Avoca (ballykissangle to you probably) was the centre of tin mining in ireland and it’s now very pretty.

Not sure you could get here and still afford 40 quid for a night in a local b&b though.

Want me to send you a genuine irish tin whistle and an avoca postcard?

I saved up for 12 months as 10 is something special (so I was told) and evens was my turn.

Give her a dutch oven….named after an item found in the place where wimminz belong and hilarious to boot.

I’ve bought my wife a new fridge for our 10th anniversary next month. I can’t wait to see her face light up when she opens it.

My wife received a tin of Tesco Value beans for our 10th.

Swiftly followed by a recreation of her wedding bouquet and a necklace.

I was too much of a chicken to stick to the Tin joke for too long

    New back door?

Surely 10 years of banging the back door in must have made it a bit, well, tatty?

In the year of our 10th anniversary my wife also turns 40.

That’s going to cost me and she’s already dropping hints about eternity rings…
