Having a bit of a clean out and found some old Zippos from my time as a smoker.
1X brass slim (used)
1X Marlboro (used)
1X Marlboro (new and unused)
Is there a second hand market for this type of thing? Where would I go to find out values and sell them? I doubt they're worth anything...
Bet they'd sell on ebay, do a search i'm sure people collect them
I'm looking there, but wondered if anyone knew of a forum or marketplace.
Cheesy taste though. LOLz at Marlboro Zippos. He he.

Freebies innit, same as the four pairs of Raybans. Apparently there was a positive side to smoking!
I am interested in slim brass zippo?
Any pic?

No pics yet as it needs a polish and I then need to see what it's worth. 😉

Okay let me know.
Cheers
It gets even funnier.
On the bottom of the lighters are stampings which tell you the year and model information.
Google Zippo and there are many sites which will show what the stampings mean like Hallmarks do.
The collecting websites will show if you have rare models
P.S. do not polish the lighters until you find out if they are rare or not
Basil +1, most old collectibles are more valuable with a patina of age rather than cleaned up....
God, I remember smoking tons of tabs to Grt one of them freebie Marlboro Zippos...
Must've been about 91/92??
I think they did a couple of promotions, one lighter is dated 1989 and the other E XIII which would date it at 1997.
Having bought and sold a fair few zippos (user rather than collector), I would hazzard a gues that they're worth about £5 - £10 each on a good day. Very, very common. Sorry!

Don't apologise, I wasn't expecting them to be worth anything just wondering if it'd be worth the effert of putting them on Ebay or not and at that kind of price I guess not. The slim might be worth a bit more than you say, closer to 15+ quid based on what I've seen though.
