Get all competitive dad on him... Buy/hire two BMXs and make sure you beat him. Then dance around in front of him and his mates in your cardigan and slippers to show him up.

My niece giggles and calls me 'fat belly'...whenever she draws a picture of me I appear rather rotund.

I'm sure I'm not that fat...she's just used to short skinny people I think.

My niece turned to my sister last Xmas in Oz and loudly declared that

"Uncle Pauly has a jelly belly!"

After over a year off the bike with an injury, it was motivation enough to get back in the saddle.

Have you taken the child down the shed and introduced it to some Bombers yet?

See it as a challenge to take BMXing up and also to reduce the belly.

Arhh, so that's what it is. I saw it out of the corner of my eye early one morning on a 'quick' spin down to Bodmin and back on my roadbike.

Haven't been doing much off-roading lately due to a slight achilles tendon injury resulting from the aforementioned ride to Bodmin. However, weekend after next there's a Dartmoor fullmoon bivi planned if yer fancy that?
