I have seen a spangly frame Id like to purchase, privately, through the magic of the intranet forums. The seller live in Lands End whereas I am in John O Groat's.
He sounds like a nice man, and in an ideal world he would be genuine but I'm worried I might get trousered.
It seems a leap of faith is required. Or is there a better way to send money and receive goods. I have bought and sold stuff regularly on here and other sites with the vast majority of folk being stand up, honest people like me. But better safe than sorry. Its a few quid like, so I want some recourse should things go the way of the pear.
Ride there collect it in person and raise a hell of a lot of cash for charity in the process.
