That's local to me - there was a news report on TV how the locals were upset that Ben Ainsley's postbox was where he learned to sail, so some numpty took it upon himself to "vanadalise" the postbox in Ben's hometown. Christ knows what would possess someone to do such a thing.
Tourist attraction now though 😕

Royal Mail spokesman Heulyn Gwyn Davies said: "We are extremely disappointed that someone has chosen to vandalise this particular post box.
So if he'd picked a different box they wouldn't have minded so much?
