Well with three children and only two sledges, something had to be done. Off to the cellar, offcut of skirting for the side rails, length of floorboard to sit on. Rails are lined with uPVC quadrant as I didn't have suitable metal in to use. It runs great, but cracks up on heavy landings, so a few bits of runner missing by the end of the day. Don't laugh at the dodgy cutting, most of it was marked out and cut by my seven year old, proper man and boy time.

Looks great mlc!

Our plastic-from-the-local-garage sledges lasted about half an hour before they cracked.
