...it wasn't, but some cock end in a silver Impreza though it was. Do you really think that 50mph up to the buzzards nest is safe?

falkirk mark - were you doing two laps of the red today? I may have spoken to you. I had the kids in the trailer.

Smee, do you manage GT with a double child trailer? What routes do you stick to?

AB - yes. Stick to the blue, bits of the red lower down, the green and the easier freeride run.

i think there should be a forum ban on mentioning gt. Every bloody time i hear it i want to go back, even if people race up there 😆

It was a cracking day for it. The boys loved it and the eldest wanted to go out again when we got home. They make for good training though.

Aye, we had a few runs down there. It's great fun for the boys.

last time i came across a speeding cockend on that bit of road i was in my car for a change ....you`ve never seen anyone be in less of a hurry to go down that road....complete with tailgater tooting his horn and flashing his lights 😀 that was a red escort with loud exhaust and a load DJ bikes hanging off a shonkily hung rack

Terry - did I teach you to do that? 😀 Sounds like one of my advanced lessons.

Speed on the road at Gt is a hardy perennial, the drier/dustier it gets, the faster folk seem to drive..... Good work on the new trail up to the freeride area to keep cars and bikes separate.

Smee.. we saw you too... we were (well I was, Mrs Rickmeister was going fine), wheezing up the road on a second lap of the red. Not being on a bike since xmas hurts!

rick - you should try my patented kids in a trailer training technique. It sure makes the legs work.

There was a cock in a silver Impreza doing straights from the bridge at Innerleithen out to the Red Bull car park on Wednesday. Perhaps it was the same one?

Blasting down dusty country roads is great fun. But definitely a no-no when there are other people about. Regardless, I'd not really moan as long as they avoided me.
