That'll be Rays MTB Park then, in Cleveland, Ohio.

The XC course, whist better than nowt is basically there to allow locals to ride in the winter as they have proper snow in that part of the world.

The rest of it gets a fair bit of use in the summer though as its all jump boxes, 'shore' type stuff and other assorted hippity hoppity type stuff.

i'd prefer rays to airdome!

mission to get your bike out of foam pits!
try corby if you want to jump into foam.saves the flight price 🙂

er when you get to the end of that you get a load of links up

is there not anything worrying about the names of most of those links?

I'd noticed that about the links too. They appear to be well dodgy.

I'm not against trail centres, but there's something really soul-destroying about that. 😕

Hardly XC but might be worth at least well maybe 1/2 a lap.

Fun for a lap or 10, then I suspect I'd get bored. I might be tempted to go and remodel it for hippity hoppity trials use.

Better than no riding at all.

I like that kinda grass roots stuff.

I'd be well up for it if there was one in London and I bet there would be pretty good attendance from a raft of riders bored out of their skulls by this weather.

Well done him.

Once the olympics is over they can convert one of the useless, overpriced and under-used stadia into a similar track ,I think it could replace the old Beastway.

Francis Rossi seems to be enjoying himself in the first link.

Oh. My. God. Reminds me of those events where dogs run through tunnels and over seesaws to win a rosette 🙁

It's certainly not boring though would be if you did more than a few laps and went too often. It's North Shore Lite init...?!

It's cycling for the x-box generation. Helps keep them off the trails...

You bloody snobs. It's cycling, it's all good. You CAN still go out in the snow, you're not prohibited from doing it. It's another option, no need to get on your singletrackdailymail high horse about it.

I think that looks like a fun way to spend some time with your mates - you wouldn't wanna go there all the time, but now and again would be alright...

The question is though - what tyres would you use??!! And at what pressure!?

I used to live just south of Cleveland, Ohio.

Winters were horrible - riding was an exercise in survival and sometimes very stupid in all the frozen-ice.

Wish we'd had the bike barn then!

(and the summers sucked too - 100F and 90% humidity. Not fun at all!)

What stumpy01 said. (apart from the silly tyres bit)(although that was obviously a joke)(but you can't tell the same joke twice)

DezB, I'm glad you realised my tyre comment was a joke...

You can say it again though if you want. 🙂
